The Academic Senate is the central body of academic self-administration at the University of Hamburg. It is involved in all important decisions made by the university and comments on all significant issues relating to the university. The new election, which will take place in the winter semester 2025/26, will be conducted online for the first time.
In recent days, the Election Office has sent an email to all eligible voters with general information about the election. If you have not received an email, please contact the Election Office (wahlamt.uhh@uni-hamburg.de). The login details for the online election will also be sent to this email address.
Bündnis Wissenschaft, an association of scientists at the UKE, will run for election to the Academic Senate with its own list of candidates. Further information will follow.
